THIS IS A FREE SINGLE: qUANTUM backed with aLLERGINS

I’ve been playing and recording off and on for the past few years with my good friend and drummer, Andy Jacobson. Occasionally, I am intelligent enough to record these sessions. "qUANTUM" and "aLLERGINS" are a direct result of one of those intelligent moments.

Neither Andy or I have an absolute recollection as to when we did these tracks, and I stumbled onto them by accident in my mad quest to find available space on an ADAT tape (media for an ancient, past-millennium recording device!). As soon as I heard what would later become "qUANTUM", I went to work on producing these songs further with multiple bass tracks, including both slide and pitch processing, which is how I roll. In keeping with the immediacy and rawness of the original bass/drum/looper tracks, anything I added was done all at one time (kind of unusual, but that's me—wasting no time to get this out to you!).

Released at the end of 2021, so Happy Holidays everyone!
